Well, friends, after almost three weeks, the TLM Blog Tour has come to a close. I’m not going to lie: I’m a little mentally drained at the moment, so please forgive me if this post rambles in places.
Although this tour kicked off in late January, I’ve been planning it since the beginning of December. Those who participated know this all too well, as I’ve bombarded their inboxes with all sorts of emails, but they’ve all been good sports about it. I want to thank everyone who helped me out with this project: Henry Baum, Matthew Berkshier, Merissa Tse (and 1889 Labs), Anthony Rapino, Kristen Tsetsi, Tom Lichtenberg, R.J. Keller, Elizabeth Arroyo, Mary Rajotte, Vidya Sury, Paul Barrett, Roy Pickering, Dorothy Distefano, Phill English, and Astrid Cruz. You are all awesome, and I owe you one for helping out. Thank you!
The purpose of this tour was to increase exposure of TLM (and, subsequently, the Monochrome trilogy), and to that effect, I think it was successful. Over the last 18 days, I’ve written essays, responded to a huge number of interviews, embodied the characters of Donovan Candle and Albert Sparrow, and made an ass of myself in a podcast. In case you missed out, here’s a recap of all the posts and shenanigans:

There were some cancellations and rescheduled events along the way. Unfortunately, you can only plan for so much; sometimes life takes a turn and you just have to roll with it. My webcam, for example, gave me some issues and I had to cancel the broadcast last Saturday. Others had to bow out due to unexpected engagements or sickness. Things happen.
Speaking of unexpected events: Last weekend, I decided to make use of ALT’s last five KDP promo days for the quarter. All this week, ALT has been free on Kindle. Much to my surprise, the book broke into the Top 10 Horror list again.
Unfortunately it didn’t climb as high as before, but when you consider I didn’t really schedule any promotions elsewhere, I think that’s rather awesome. The book will be free until sometime after midnight tonight, so help yourself.
And now here’s the reason you’ve probably read this far. As part of the tour, I began taking entries for a grand prize giveaway. One person will be selected to win a prize containing signed hardcovers of ALT & TLM, a TLM T-shirt, coffee mug, and an eBook package containing a LOT of books.
Drum roll . . .
The winner is . . . Janet Morissey!
Congratulations! I’ll be in touch via email to sort out the particulars.
Thanks again for tagging along for the tour, folks, and for being so damn supportive. I wouldn’t be doing this if it weren’t for you. Expect a new post about new material very soon!
